February PTO Meeting

At the beginning of the next PTO meeting on February 7th, there will be a short presentation by Gwen Oliver, president of the club Vaccinate America at Penn State. Their goal as a club is to educate community members about the facts and importance of vaccination. Gwen has developed a presentation with Penn State faculty and members of the Hershey Medical team explaining exactly what vaccination is, addressing common concerns, and explaining why vaccination is important. She has given this presentation to the SCASD nursing staff and they approved the presentation and gave her their full support to share it with parents. The presentation will run from 7pm to about 7:10 next Wednesday.
