Our school can earn cash when you shop at Giant using your BONUSCARD. Register your card and enter the school ID 20749. If you have previously registered your card, you do not need to re-register it each year.

What we do
Throughout the year, the Gray's Woods PTO achieves its mission of connecting parents and teachers and enriching the learning experiences for every student at Gray's Woods Elementary through fundraising and social events and other programs. Below is a sample list with descriptions of those activities.

Family Directory: Find contact information for other students and their families.
​
School Supplies: Each year, the PTO purchases and coordinates the delivery of regular school supplies (pencils, markers, paper, etc.) for each child at our school. Teachers submit requests and the supplies are all ready by the time the students arrive for the school year.
​
Yearbook: Each June, full-color yearbooks that include class photos, memories and event highlights are distributed to those who have ordered them. Order early in the school year for the best pricing!
​
Sweet Frog Fro-Yo Social: This is an opportunity for families to have a sweet treat and socialize. A portion of Sweet Frog purchases benefits the PTO.
​
Jersey Mike's Subs Fundraiser: Staff and families will receive cards that entitle them to a free sub with a minimum $2 donation to the Gray's Woods PTO during a 3-day period at either State College Jersey Mike's location. There will also be a donation bucket out during the 3 days for other customers to make additional donations.
​
Family Fun Fair: This event is all about fun including a bounce house, cake walk, carnival games, a silent auction, and more!
​
Spring Pictures: The PTO will receive $2 for each student who gets his/her picture taken. When the photo packages come home, families have the option to purchase these professional prints or simply send them back to the school with no obligation.
​
Wolf Pack Trek: This activity is typically held soon after the school year starts and is a great way for students and families to gather to run or walk together near the school.
​
Gray's Woods Challenge: This all-school fun run is a win-win opportunity for students to participate in a fundraiser while doing something healthy. This will be taking place in the Fall.
​
Scholastic Book Fairs: Two times each year (Fall and Spring), families have the opportunity to shop a great selection of books conveniently located at the school. There is also the opportunity to purchase books for your child's teacher or one of the specialists to further enhance the learning experiences of all students.
​
Coast to Coast Fitness Program: This program encourages students and families to stay active.
​
Staff Appreciation: Once in the Fall and again in the Spring, the PTO along with many parents celebrate the teachers and staff who make Gray's Woods Elementary an awesome place for our students to learn and thrive.
​
STEAM Fair: Students select a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art or Math project and and then display for parents and the community.
​
Spiritwear Sale: Families can purchase Gray's Woods Elementary t-shirts, sweatshirts and more.
​
V.I.P. Pizza Party: A fun evening where students get to bring their Very Important Person along with them for some dancing and snacks. More details to come!
​
Visiting Author Day: Each year, students are treated to an assembly where a children's book author speaks with them about the inspiration for and the process of writing a book.
​
Wolf Pack Has Talent: A fun evening of students sharing their talents with the community.
​
Movie Night: Families are invited to bring blankets and pillows and enjoy a movie and popcorn at this free event. Feel free to wear pajamas, too.
​
Garden at Gray's Woods: Each year, the students return to school in the Fall to find the garden bursting with produce. Classes are able to turn that produce into salsa, which is a great way to kick off the year. The garden is strongly supported by parent volunteers and offers many learning opportunities to students.
​
Recycling: Gray's Woods is proud to partner with TerraCycle and CCRRA to accept several hard-to-recycle items. Send them to school with your child to be placed in the specialty recycling bins (located across from the secondary hallway, near the back door of the library).
